Simon Maxwell Helberg is an American actor, comedian, and singer best known for his work in film and television and film. He was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on December 9, 1980. Somin began his acting career in 1999 when he appeared in the film, Mumford. He has since been a regular on the TV series Derek and Simon: The Show, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Joey, and MADtv, but he is best known for starring in the comedy series The Big Bang Theory alongside Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik. Simon’s filmography includes Old School, A Cinderella Story, Florence Foster Jenkins, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, and A Serious Man. Simon won a Critics Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
