Simon John Charles Le Bon is an English musician, singer, songwriter, lyricist, and model who was born on October 27, 1958.
He is the first of three boys for Ann-Marie Le Bon, who had two younger brothers, David and Jonathan.
When he was six years old, his mother entered him in a screen test for a Persil washing powder TV commercial, which he won.
He is best recognized for being the lead singer and lyricist for the Duran Duran and Arcadia bands. The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors has given Le Bon three Ivor Novello Awards, including one for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
