Coming from Gainesville, Florida, Sister Hazel was found on 1993. They are known to be an alternative, southern rock band with elements of pop and folk music. Comprised of members Ken Block, Andrew Copeland, Ryan Newell, Jett Beres, and Mark Trojanowski, they first made music acts for several jazz ensembles.
In 1994, Sister Hazel released their EP debut, after which they moved to a major label to release “Somewhere More Familiar” in 1997. Their “All for You” dominated the adult alternative charts in 1997, giving the album a platinum status. In 2000, they released a follow-up album entitled “Fortress” under Universal Records.
