Siti Nurhaliza Bio
Siti Nurhaliza, who now goes by Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, is a multi-award winning Malaysian Pop singer and songwriter, and is considered the most successful Malaysian singer today, with over one hundred national and international awards and a record number of number-one hits. She has been recognized for being the artist with most awards in Malaysia in a couple of occasions. She also won Voice of Asia in 2002. When she was 16, she competed and won the RTM Juara Bintang competition, after which she was signed a contract with Suria Records and released her first album, Siti Nurhaliza, in 1996. She has since become a singing sensation, winning over charts both at home and in Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia. Nurhaliza was born on January 11, 1979, in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Malaysia.
