Sledgren Bio
Born in Hazelwood, Pennsylvania, Grammy award nominated music producer Sledgren is known for his work with the Taylor Gang, founded by Wiz Khalifa. His interest in music began in ninth grade with a course that he took up. An avid gamer, he took to MTV’s Music Generator software easily, building up his skills as a producer. After high school, he began to visit local studios with rapper Chevy Woods who is a part of Taylor Gang. He picked up music production software skills through these visits and began to officially produce music in the early 2000. In 2011, he was recognised as one of the best upcoming hip hop music producers by XXL magazine. He worked with several artists including Mac Miller, Curren$y and a lot more. Among the most notable projects that he has worked on are the ‘GO:OD AM” album by Mac Miller and ‘Wiz Got Wings’ by Cardo and Wiz Khalifa.
