Slimelife Shawty is a rapper born on November 10, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up on Cleveland Avenue, Slimelife used rap as a way to get off the street. He started his career in 2017 when he worked for French producer Brodinski. But he’s been working on his music even earlier than that, making music with Lil Keed & Lil Gotit since 2015. In 2018, he was featured in Keed’s Blicky Blicky, which brought welcomed attention to the rapper. Slimlife signed with Alamo Records and released his debut project, 100 Reasons, in 2019. He is known for hits like Don’t Worry (Clappers) and Dying 2 Hit’em, which have millions of streams across multiple streaming platforms. Slimlife has collaborated on tracks and albums with many different rappers, including Lil Durk, JGreen, and Lil Gotit.
