Slowly Slowly Bio

Slowly Slowly is an indie rock band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Slowly Slowly has been active since 2015 and, since then, released four albums and numerous singles. Their music has been defined as a combination of various influences, starting from the pop-rock feel, indie aesthetic, and punk music drive considering the critic's opinion. They released their debut album in 2016 called Chamomile in private production and a single Aliens 7 a year later, in 2017. In 2018, they started a collaboration with the UNFD Record Label and released their second album, St. Leonards, the same year under UNFD. The business decision of signing for the UNFD turns out to be a great success. Therefore, Slowly Slowly released two more albums for the same label, Race Car Blues, in 2020 and Race Car Blues Chapter 2 2021. Slowly Slowly was nominated for the Best Independent Rock Album or EP on AIR Awards for their 2020 album, Race Car Blues, in 2021. Current band members are Albert Doan (guitar), Patrick Murphy (drums), Alex Quayle (bass guitar), and Ben Stewart (lead vocals and guitar).
