Slowthai is the stage name of the English rapper Tyron Kaymone Frampton. He was born in Northamptonshire, UK on December 18, 1994. Frampton is known for his politically charged lyrics. His stage name is a play on his childhood nickname. After college, he started focusing on his music career. He released his debut single in 2016 titled “Jiggle” and has since released the singles “Murder”, “Noddy”, “The Bottom”, “North Nights”, “Polaroid”, “Ladies”, “Drug Dealer”, “Rainbow”, “Doorman”, “Peace of Mind”, “Gorgeous”, and others. In 2017 he released his debut EP titled I WISH I KNEW and followed it up in 2018 with his second EP titled RUNT. In 2019 he released his debut studio album titled Nothing Great About Britain with the label Method. The album charted at number 9 in the UK and number 64 in Ireland.
