Snail Mail is the moniker for the solo project started by young talent Lindsey Jordan, from Ellicott City, Maryland, USA. She started Snail Mail when she was fifteen, and has been its primary singer and songwriter. Her six-track EP “Habit” (2016) caught social media attention. Her band includes Alex Bass (bass) and Ray Brown (drums). To begin her young career, she had to get signatures from legal guardians to tour because she was 17 years old at the time.
Snail Mail is currently signed to Matador Records, and has released the full studio album “Lush.” They have toured in support of their debut with bands such as Priests, Girlpool, Waxahatchee and Beach Fossils. Priests, the punk band from Washington, D.C., have offered to help release more of Snail Mail’s work on their home label, Polygon.
