Snails, born Fredrick Durand on May 4th, 1988 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is a Canadian DJ and music producer specializing in the genre of vomitstep, dubstep, drum and bass, drumstep, and trap. In 2012 Snails began to release his music online through Kannibalen Records. His debut single, “Bubble Gun,” garnered him attention from notable DJ’s and producers on the electronic music scene. This led Snails to collaborate with Flux Pavilion and Jack U. In 2014 he released two singles: “Wild” and “Pump This.” He began to tour in 2014 and made his first major appearances at the EDC Music Festival in Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival in Miami, and Electric Forest in 2015. In the same year Snails released a new single called “King is Back.” Snails spent much of 2016 touring in support of Flosstradamus while playing sets at Coachella and Lollapalooza. In 2017 he released a collaboration single with Botnek called “Waffle House” and set the dates for his upcoming American Tour.
