Social Distortion Bio
Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in Fullerton, California in 1978. The current members of the band are Mike Ness on lead vocal and lead guitar, Jonny Wickersham on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Brent Harding on bass guitar and backing vocals, David Kalish on keyboards, and David Hidalgo Jr. on drums. They released their debut studio album in 1983 titled Mommy’s Little Monster and have since released the albums Prison Bound, Social Distortion, Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell, White Light White Heat, White Trash, Sex, Love and Rock ’n’ Roll, and Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. The band has been together for over 40 years and has released 7 studio albums, 2 compilation albums, 1 live album, 2 video albums, and 1 EP. They are one of the best-selling rock bands and have sold over 3 million albums worldwide.
