Sofia Carson Bio
Sofia Carson was born Sofia Daccarett Char on April 10, 1993 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Her first major role was as Evie, the Evil Queen’s daughter in Descendants, a Disney made-for-TV movie. This made her a popular name among young Disney TV fans. She also has musical talent, and performed on the same stage as Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards. In the April of 2017, Carson helped to host the RDMA’s, alongside several other top billing Disney names.
One of her most popular songs is entitled “Back to Beautiful,” the music video for which has over 20 million views on YouTube. In 2016, she received a nomination for the Teen Choice Award Choice Music: Next Big Thing title. Her music is often incorporated into Descendants, as she has performed songs like “Ways to Be Wicked,” for the second installment of the movie, Descendants 2. She has also performed this song on Good Morning America and Dancing with the Stars.
