Sofie Winterson is a Dutch indie-pop singer, songwriter, and musician born in Marken, Noord-Holland, Netherlands in 1986. She released her debut single in 2013 titled “Your Eyes.” The song was featured in an international Braun campaign in 2013. In 2014 she released her second single titled “Said and Done” and followed it up with the release of her debut studio album titled Wires with the label Magnetron Music. She released her second studio album in 2018 titled Sophia Electric. Sofie was also a member of the soul-pop band The Souldiers. The band was formed in 2005 by Sofie, her sister Cato van Dijck, their brother Joost van Dijck, Daniel Johnston, Chris Dros, and Robin van Baaren. They were together from 2005 to 2012 and released the EP Fuel for Fire and the album These Times.
