Sole Giménez Bio
Soledad Giménez Muñoz, known as Sole Giménez, is a jazz-pop singer and songwriter born in Paris, France, on February 27, 1963. She started performing in Presuntos Implicados in 1983. They released their debut album, Danzad Danzad Malditos, under RCA in 1984. De Sol a Sol followed in 1987, and Alma de Blues in 1989.
Sole released her first solo album, Ojalá, in 2004. Her second album, La Felicidad (2007), peaked at number 15 on the Spanish pop charts. Dos Gardenias (2008) featured the songs of several Latin American composers. Pequeñas Cosas (2009) included Spanish composers like Joan Manuel Serrat, Joaquín Sabina, Alejandro Sanz, and Kiko Veneno.
Her works have appeared on Mujeres de Fina Estampa, Las 100 mejores canciones de amor del Pop Español, Manual para los fieles, and 14 de Ciento Volando de 14. Sole has performed at Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris in Mexico. She has released El cielo de París and Cómo hemos cambiado.
