Soleil Moon Frye Bio
Soleil Moon Frye is an American actress, director, producer, and screenwriter, born on August 6, 1976, in Glendora, California. She is best known for her starring role as the title character in Punky Brewster in 1984 when she was eight years old. Since then, Soleil has appeared in numerous movies, directed films, and written screenplays.
She started acting at the age of two following her father Virgil Frye's footsteps. Her mother, Sondra Peluce, was her manager. She graduated from a private high school in California and attended New School University in New York for one year. The California native was a childhood friend of Melissa Joan Hart and played her friend Roxie in the series Sabrina The Teenage Witch. She has also appeared in the TV series Hollywood Darlings, Planet Sheen, Bratz, The Proud Family, and many more.
