Solomon Jamar Hill (born on March 18, 1991 in Harvey, IL) is a professional NBA player. He began his career in basketball in Fairfax High School. After High School, he moved to the University of Arizona
There, Hill was named on the All-Pac-12 first team, the NABC All-District 20 first team, and the Pacific Life Pac-12 All-Tournament team. He was also named Arizona’s Most Outstanding Player.
After successfully graduating from the University of Arizona, Hill was selected by Indiana Pacers for the 2013 NBA draft. On July 3, he signed a rookie scale contract with the Pacers for the 2013 NBA Summer League. He played the 2013-2014 season. Unfortunately, an ankle injury forced Hill to miss out on the 2014 NBA summer league action.
On July 21, 2016, Hill signed a 4-year contract with the New Orleans Pelicans. After surgery to repair a torn hamstring on August 27, 2017, Hill took a break from basketball.
On February 6, 2020, Hill was drafted to the Miami Heat in a 3-team trade. He reached the NBA Finals with the team in 2020. On November 25, he signed a contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
