Sonequa Martin-Green Bio
Sonequa Martin-Green was born on March the 21st 1985 in Alabama and is an American producer and actress. With training from the University of Alabama, her career began in 2005, she appeared in many independent films such as Not Quite Right, I-Can-D and Blind Thoughts before her first television role in Law & Order: CI, after recurring roles in television roles such as Army Wives, The Good Wife and NYC 22, she had her breakthrough role.
Best known for her role in the hit television show, The Walking Dead as Sasha Williams, Martin-Green works alongside actors such as Lauren Cohan and Danai Gurira on the acclaimed show. The actress is also the lead character on CBS’ Star Trek: Discovery, where she has so far been nominated for a Saturn Award for her work.
