Sophie became well known for her starring roles in the famous films Braveheart (1995) and The World Is Not Enough (1999). She is also famous for starring in the 1997 film The Firelight. She receive the Cesar for Best Feminine Hope for La Boum 2 in 1983 and was also elected the Romantic actress for Chouans! (1988) at the Festival International du Film Romantique of Cabourg in 1988. As a model, she signed a long-term contract as a teen back in France.
