Sourav Ganguly Bio
Sourav Chandidas Ganguly, also known as Dada, is a beloved administrator, commentator, and former captain of the Indian National Cricket Team, who was born on July 8th, 1972. In addition to becoming one of the best batsman in the world during his playing career, Ganguly is also considered to be one of the most effective captains of the Indian national cricket team. He is revered as the “Indian Cricket Maharaja.” In 2019, he was chosen to lead the BCCI, and serve as the editorial board's president of Wisden India. He served as the head of the Cricket Association of Bengal, before being chosen to lead the BCCI. Moreover, he took on commentary and serves as a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee.
