Spencer Brown Bio
Onofrio Spencer Jeffrey Bruno, better known as Spencer Brown, is an American music producer and DJ who performs progressive house and EDM music.
By 12, he delved into DJing and music production, motivated by dissatisfaction with school party playlists. Initially performing at local events in Dallas, TX, his talent flourished. Introduced to progressive house at 14, through artists like Axwell and Eric Prydz, his passion deepened. Graduating with distinction in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering in 2016, Brown's thesis focused on omnidirectional speakers. His breakthrough came when Avicii signed him for the "Chalice EP" on LE7ELS in 2014. Opening for Avicii at the Hollywood Bowl, Brown embarked on a North American tour.
His debut album 'Illusion of Perfection' (2018) and follow-up 'Stream of Consciousness' (2020) topped iTunes Dance charts, leading to international headline tours. His discography now also includes the hit singles “Phases,” “SF to Berlin,” “Long Way From Home,” “Audio,” “Sun In Your Eyes,” and “Will We Remain.”
