Spencer Sutherland is an American pop and R&B singer-songwriter born August 31, 1992, in Pickerington, Ohio, United States.
Sutherland is mostly known for taking part in the 14th season of the hit British reality television music competition The X Factor.
Sutherland started his career with various live performances in shows and covers of famous songs. His first notable cover was Taylor Swift's Everything Has Changed that he released in 2013. Sutherland also released his debut single Heartstrings that same year. In 2014, Sutherland toured with various bands - the pop-rock group Before You Exit as part of The Dangerous Tour; the young musician also collaborated with Emblem3 as part of the Forever Together tour.
From 2015 to 2017, Sutherland came to prominence by taking part in the X-Factor. He was eliminated in the first week of the live competition, earning 16th place.
The musician released a number of singles such as Bad Influence (2015), Selfish (2017), Sweater, and NONE of this has been about you (both in 2019).
