Spoken Bio

Coming from Nashville, Tennessee, Spoken was formed in 1996. A trio of friends, Scoop Roberts, Matt Baird, and Isaiah Perez, formed the band having a nu-metal sound. Their first album entitled “On Your Feet” was released in 1997. Their second LP “What Remains” followed soon after. Their third record, “Echoes of the Spirit Still Dwell” under Metro 1 label features heavier music.

In 2001, the Spoken signed under Tooth & Nail label releasing three albums, as they evolve their style from scream/ pop to melodic hard rock, and with the likes of Linkin Park. The album titles are “A Moment of Imperfect Clarity,” “Last Chance to Breathe,” and a self-titled release. They released “Echoes” in 2008 then went to hiatus. By 2013, they went back to business with their album “Illusion.”
