Stanley Herbert Johnson Jr. is an American professional basketball who plays as a small forward in the NBA. He was born in Anaheim, California, United States, on May 29, 1996. Stanley spent been his formative years playing for Mater Dei High School and the University of Arizona where received the Julius Erving Award and was named in the First-team All-Pac-12, First-team Parade All-American, and California Mr. Basketball. He turned professional in 2015 when he was selected by the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the NBA Draft. Stanley has since represented the New Orleans Pelicans, the Toronto Raptors, and Los Angeles Lakers, and throughout his time in Los Angeles, he played alongside LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard. Stanley won gold for the United States at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship, FIBA World U17 Championship, and FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
