Stefanos Tsitsipas Bio
Stefanos Tsitsipas is a professional tennis player who was born on August 12th, 1998 in Athens, Greece. When he took home the trophy for the 2018 Stockholm Open, he made history by becoming the first Greek player in all of ATP World Tour history to win any event on the tour. At the age of six, he joined a tennis club in Glyfada and immediately started taking lessons. In 2016, he finished the year as the top-ranked junior player in the entire world. He finished 2018 ranked as the number 15 men's player in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals. After that, the 2018 Next Generation ATP Finals were won by him after a victory over Alex de Minaur. Moreover, in 2021, he held the third-best ranking.
