Stephanie Izard is a world-renowned chef and the Executive Chef/Partner of two Chicago restaurants, Girl & the Goat and Little Goat. She is most renowned for winning the James Beard "Best Chef: Great Lakes," award and Food & Wine's "Best New Chef" award.
Her restaurants have been praised by high-profile publications including Saveur, New York Times, Food & Wine, Better Homes and Gardens and others.
Stephanie was the first woman to win Top Chef (Season 4, 2008) which also featured Padma Lakshmi, Richard Blais, and Spike Mendelsohn. She is the only winner of the original version of the show to take the title of "Fan Favorite." She was appointed to the Macy's Culinary Council and was named celebrity chef of "CMT Artists of the Year."
Stephanie’s first book, Girl in the Kitchen, was released in 2011. Her second book “Gather & Graze” was released in April 2018. Stephanie also has a product line called "The Flavor, By Stephanie Izard." The line consists of sauces and rubs available for purchase for the home cook.
