Stephen Dorff is an American actor. He was born Stephen Hartley Dorff Jr. on the 29th of July, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. He started acting at a very young age, and he appeared as a child on commercials for Kraft and Mattel. In the late 1980s, he started making appearances in television shows like “Blossom”, “Married…with Children” and “Roseanne”. His first breakthrough role was in the horror film “The Gate”. In 1992, he co-starred with Morgan Freeman, Daniel Craig and Sir John Gielgud, on the movie “The Power of One”. Since then, he has appeared in more than 10 films, such as “Leatherface”, “Jackals” and, “Music, War, and Love”. He has also appeared in more than 10 television programs, like “True Detective” and in 2020, “Deputy”, where he plays the main role.
