Steve Burton Bio
Steve Burton (born June 28, 1970 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA) is an American actor and director, best known for his performances as 'Jason Morgan' on 'General Hospital' and 'Dylan McAvoy' on 'The Young and the Restless.'
Burton trained as an actor under Jon Cedar and Chris Aable. He made his acting debut in 1986 playing the minor role of a local FBI agent 'Ithaca' in 'The Manhattan Project.' The following year, he made his television debut as 'Chris Fuller,' on the syndicated fantasy sitcom 'Out of This World'. He played the recurring character 'Harris Michaels' on 'NBC' daytime soap opera 'Days of Our Lives' (1988). In 1994, Burton was cast as 'Jared' in the science fiction action 'CyberTracker' and reprised the role in the sequel.
From 1991 to 2012, Steve was a regular on the 'ABC' soap opera 'General Hospital.' He also acted in the 2001 action-drama film 'The Last Castle' and lent his voice to the character ‘Cloud Strife’ in the 'Final Fantasy VII' game series and its film versions.
