Steve Hackett Bio
Stephen Richard Hackett was born in 1950, in London. He is a musician, singer, songwriter, and music producer, who gained fame as guitarist of the rock band Genesis. Hackett and Genesis produced six studio albums, three live albums, and seven singles. With those merits, he was introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall Fame in 2010. His music has explored some genres, including progressive rock, blues, classical music, and pop-rock. His last album was released in 2020, called “Selling England By The Pound & Spectral Mornings - Live At Hammersmith”. Many people believe that Steve Hackett is probably one of the most unfairly underrated guitarists in the history of music since he was a pioneer and an influence for thousands of musicians.
