Steven Bergwijn (born on October 8, 1997, in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is best known as an explosive forward. His journey into professional football began at a local club called ASV De Dijk.
In 2009, he joined the prestigious youth academy of PSV Eindhoven. Under the guidance of experienced trainers, Bergwijn's talent blossomed, and he progressed through the ranks of the club's youth system. In 2014, at the age of 16, Bergwijn made his debut for PSV Eindhoven's senior team in a KNVB Cup match against Almere City. His breakthrough season came in 2017-2018 when he scored 8 goals and provided 8 assists in the Eredivisie, contributing significantly to PSV's league-winning campaign.
Bergwijn's notable achievements with PSV Eindhoven attracted attention from top European clubs, and in January 2020, he made a major transfer move to Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. During his time at Tottenham Hotspur, Bergwijn showcased his versatility and attacking prowess. He had an impressive start by scoring on his debut against Manchester City.
