Story of the Year Bio
Story of the Year is an American rock band that was formed in 1995 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The band’s original lineup included Dan Marsala (vocalist), Adam Russell (bassist), Joshua Willis (drummer), Ryan Phillip (guitarist) and Phillip Sneed (guitarist).
The band dropped their debut album Page Avenue in 2003 with Feldmann. They released their liveset Lou/BAssassins in spring April. It was quickly followed by Wake of Determination which appeared in October the same year debut at #19 on the Billboard charts. Their third full length effort The Black Swan was released in 2008 on Epitaph Records which got them on several tours including the Warped Tour. The Constant appeared in 2010 and their fifth effort, the ‘80s-inspired Wolves, arrived in late 2017.
