Subodh Bhave Bio
Subodh Bhave is an actor, producer, and director born in Pune, Maharashtra, India, on November 9, 1975. He is an alumnus of Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. Before venturing into acting, he worked as a salesman in Inika Technologies. Subodh is best known for portraying Bal Gangadhar Tilak in the acclaimed biopic Lokmanya-Ek Yug Purush in 2015.
The same year, he made his directorial debut with the musical drama Katyar Kaljat Ghusali. The film had critical and commercial success. He anchored Sony Marathi's Jay Jay Maharashtra Majha, Colors Marathi's Dholkichya Talawar, ETV Marathi's Haay Ka Himmat, and Sahyadri's Maharashtra Sangeet Ratna.
Subodh starred as Avinash Dev in Zee Marathi's Ka Re Durava, Advocate Mansingh Shelar in Star Pravah's Jivalagaa, Swapnil in ETV Marathi's Ya Gojirwanya Gharat, and Doctor Rohan in Sahyadri's Manachiye Gunti. His accolades include the 2019 Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year, Best Director Award at the 2016 Filmfare Marathi Award, Best Actor at the 2012 Zee Gaurav Award, and Best Character at the 2009 Zee Marathi Award.
