Sugarland Bio

Sugarland is an American country music duo founded by Jennifer Nettles (lead vocalist), Kristian Bush (vocalist and guitarist), and Kristen Hall (vocalist and guitarist) in 2002. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the trio independently released Premium Quality Tunes and toured tirelessly attracting the attention of Mercury Nashville, with whom they released two-song single “Baby Girl” b/w “Stand Back Up” and multi-platinum debut album “Twice the Speed of Life” in 2004. In 2005, Hall left. The remaining duo continued to make music and released four studio albums between then and 2010 including Enjoy the Ride (2006), Love on the Inside (2008), Gold and Green (2009), and The Incredible Machine (2010). Four of their albums are certified platinum and racked up 15 singles on Billboard Hot Country Songs. After a hiatus in 2012, the duo came back together to release their sixth studio album Bigger in 2018.
