Summerella is an American social media influencer and singer born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 18, 1995. Her real name is Summer Boissiere. She first gained popularity on the app Vine posting 6 second comedy videos to her account _Summerella_. She started her vine account in 2013 and gained a following of over 1.5 million followers on the app. Summer started her YouTube channel in 2014 and posts videos of challenges, makeup tutorials, cooking, and her music. She has garnered a large following over several social media platforms with over 3.3 million followers on Instagram, 390k followers on Twitter, 415k followers on Facebook, and almost 900k subscribers on YouTube. In 2015 she released her debut single titled “11 Something” that reached number 24 on the Billboard Top 100 R&B chart and number 18 on the iTunes Pop charts.
