Superheaven is a rock band previously known as Daylight. Following a legal dispute with a Spanish band of the same name, Daylight changed its name to Superheaven in early 2014. This American band is from Doylestown, Pennsylvania, formed in early 2008. Unfortunately, they were active just from 2008-2016. Members of the band included John Bowes, Taylor Madison, Joseph Kane, Jacob Clarke, and Zack Robbins. Their music is a combination of grunge, alternative rock, and shoegaze. As Daylight, they released their debut extended play “Sinking” in 2009. Later, as Superheaven, they released just two studio albums, called “Jar” (2013) and “Ours Is Chrome” (2015). Curiously, the band has played some select shows since ending in 2016, but they have not announced whether they will begin touring or releasing a new album again.
