Surf Mesa Bio
Surf Mesa is an American singer, born Powell Aguirre on April 10, 2000, in Seattle, Washington. He rose to fame for the single 'ily (i love you baby)' featuring Emilee and gained popularity on TikTok. The song received millions of views on YouTube topping the U.S. and Global Viral Charts and debuting on Top 40 radio.
After the song went viral, Surf Mesa signed to Astralwerks and released a remix of Marshmello and Halsey’s Be Kind in June 2020. He posted his first YouTube video in May 2020. The Seattle native is also active across several social media platforms such as Instagram through his @surfmesa Instagram account. He has been making music since he was very young and has been working on the Surf Mesa project since high school, releasing music on SoundCloud.
