Surfbort Bio
Brooklyn-based musical group, Surfbort, is a group that has been active on the punk scene since 2015. Current members are Dani Miller on vocals, Sean Powell on drums, Alex Kilgore, and David R. Head Jr. both on guitar - they get their name from a Beyonce lyric in her song Drunk in Love. They are signed by Cult Records.
They have been performing as supporting acts for musicians and bands such as Thee Oh Sees, Fat White Family, White Fang, The Mystery Lights, and Tomorrows Tulips. The band has over 19 000 monthly listeners on the Spotify platform with their top tracks each gaining over 300 000 listens. Dani has been featured in the luxury brand, Gucci Beauty where she collaborated with them on a lipstick line ad in 2019.
