Susan Boyle Bio

Susan Boyle was born on Blackburn, United Kingdom on April 1, 1961. She gained international attention when she joined Britain’s Got Talent and the video where she performed “I Dreamed a Dream” became viral.

She released the album I Dreamed a Dream in 2009 which included the original composition “Who I Was Born To Be.” She also released The Gift, Someone to Watch Ocer Me, Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs from the Stage, Home for Christmas, Hope, and A Wonderful World.

She received the World’s Best-Selling British Artist Awards from World Music Awards in 2010. In 2011, she won the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Scottish Variety Awards. She also nabbed the Icon Award from radio Forth Awards and the Fans Choice Award from the Scottish Music Awards in 2013.
