Susto is an American indie rock group that hails from Charleston, South Carolina. The band's name is a Spanish word that means "an intense fear understood as a condition of the soul," reflecting the Cuban heritage of some members of the group, as well as, being derived from the first letters of the group's leader's name. In 2014, Susto made their debut, releasing a self-titled album with the Hearts & Plugs record label. With Acid Boys and Missing Piece Records, Susto released their second full-length album, titled "I'm Fine Today." The band performed at the High-Water Festival in North Charleston, in April 2018. “Ever Since I Lost My Mind,” their third album, was released on Rounder Records on February 22nd, 2019. Moreover, they have also performed at Antone's Georgia Theater in Austin during the Southwest festival, Texas, in March 2019.
