Suvrat Joshi (born April 22, 1985 in Pune, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actor and singer, most renowned for his role as Sujay Sathe in the 2015 television sitcom Dil Dosti Duniyadari. He is most popular in the Marathi entertainment industry.
Joshi attended Fergusson College where he studied theater and acting. While at Fergusson College, Joshi participated in inter collegiate theater competitions. He won the Nirmal Award for best actor in Purushottam Karandak in 12th grade. After his graduation, Joshi went on to attend the National School of Drama.
He started off his career in theater, before going into television. In 2018, he made his film debut as Raghu with the movie Shikari, where he featured alongside Mrunmayee Deshpande and Siddharth Jadhav. In his next role in a movie titled Party (2018), Joshi played a college student in the 90s. Following the project, Joshi featured on other projects including Dokyala Shot and Mann Fakiraa (2020). In 2018, he co-hosted the Marathi Jio Filmfare Awards, alongside Amey Wagh.
