Sweet Female Attitude is a British electronic band that was formed in 1997, in Manchester. The project began as a trio composed by singer Leanne Brown and songwriters Mike Powell and Shine MC. They later added singer Sarah Bridgewood to the group and signed with the record label Cutfather and Joe Recordings. In 1999 Sarah left the band and Catherine Cassidy joined Leanne as a second singer. In 2000, the single called “Flowers” started to gain popularity when it was remixed by Sunship. This track achieved number one in the UK Singles Chart. The success of the song brought the group to a European tour and international performances on MTV and Top of the Pops. They also received a nomination for the Brit Awards. In 2001 they released their first album called In Person. After several years of performing together, Catherine left the group in 2014.
