Switchfoot is an American alternative rock band founded in San Diego, California. The members of the band are Jon Foreman, Tim Foreman, Chad Butler, Jerome Fontamillas, and Drew Shirley. They were known around the 2000s and one of the most important achievements they have had throughout their career was achieved in 2011, when they were proclaimed Grammy Winners for Best Gospel Rock Album category for their album Hello Hurricane. The songs that stood out from their album were “Awakening”, “Burn Out Bright”, “Meant to Live”, “Dare You to Move”, “Your Love Is a Song”, “Stars”, “The sound” and “Mess of Me”. In 1996, due to their outstanding career that the band had, they were contacted by a veteran in the music industry, Charlie Peacock. After that, the band released several albums, notably, “The Legend of Chin”, “New Way to Be Human”, and “Learning to Breathe”.
