Theodore Raymond Knight is a well-known actor, who was born on March 26th, 1973 in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. At the age of five, he made his stage debut in a neighbourhood children's theatre. As a freshman, Knight was honoured with a scholarship from the Conners Foundation, and worked as an apprentice for the Children's Theatre Company. He played a role in the movie "The Last Request," (2006). The majority of his notoriety was brought by his performance as Dr. George O'Malley on the medical drama television series “Grey's Anatomy,” which aired on ABC, and earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2007. Moreover, he was awarded the Back Stage Garland Award for Performance in a Musical for “Parade,” in 2010.
