Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad, also known as Tamino, is a Belgian indie-pop singer and songwriter born in 1996 in Antwerp. In 2016 he played a live session for Belgium’s Radio 1. His single “Habibi” made an impression with the critics. A year later, Tamino issued two EPs: “Tamino” and “Habibi”. The latter featured a collaboration of Colin Greenwood from Radiohead. In 2018 the artist played in European summer festivals. His debut LP came out later that year and also featured the talents of Greenwood. It enjoyed a deluxe reedition in 2019. A live performance at the end of 2018 also went out in 2019 with the Arts & Crafts label. Tamino has toured the Middle East and North Africa and opened for Lana Del Rey.
