Tanner Patrick Howe (born May 24, 1991 in Los Angeles, California) is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and social media sensation, best known for his eponymous YouTube channel, where he shares music-related content. Since creating his account, he has earned over 1.5 million subscribers. Tanner was selected by Nigel Lythgoe Productions to appear on the E! Network show Opening Act. He made his appearance alongside Brad Paisley on the show.
As a kid, Tanner quickly picked up on the acoustic guitar, bass, and piano, among other instruments. He released his debut album The Waiting Home on April 22, 2014 along with a music video for the single "Satellites." At the age of 17, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Following his diagnosis, he founded the band Disco Curtis with longtime friends Garrett Perales and AJ Novak. The band proceeded to sign a record deal with MySpace Records, and performed at Bamboozle West. They also played shows with Boys Like Girls and Forever The Sickest Kids. Tanner is associated with Sam Golbach and Colby Brock of Sam and Colby.
