Tao Okamoto Bio
Tao Okamoto is a Japanese actress and model who was born on May 22nd, 1985. Professionally, she goes by the name Tao. Along with Ai Tominaga and Hiroko Matsumoto, she is considered to be one of the biggest Japanese supermodels from Japan. She was featured as one of Ralph Lauren's campaign models in the year 2009. Phillip Lim asked Okamoto to be the hair model for the entirety of his Fall/Winter 2009 show because he was motivated by Okamoto’s bowl haircut. She made her acting debut in the film “The Wolverine,” in 2013, playing the role of Mariko Yashida, the female lead. Two years later, she portrayed Mercy Graves in the film “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016). Moreover, she has appeared on “Hannibal, The Man in the High Castle,” and “Westworld” as recurring characters.
