Tara Lynne Barr Bio

Tara Lynne Barr is an American actress who was born on October 2, 1993 in Orange County, California. Although she dabbled in the Disney and Nickelodeon world growing up, interpreting small parts in a bunch of series, such as “The suite life of Zack and Cody” or “Drake & Josh”, Tara is best known for her starring role as Laura Meyers in the comedy series “Casual” (2015), Hulu and Lionsgate original and produced by Jason Reitman, which was later nominated for a “Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical”. She also worked on NBC’s thriller-drama series called “Aquarius” (2015) as Katie, based on real life Charles Manson’s follower Patricia Krenwinkel. Previous to that, Tara actually made her feature film debut portraying Roxy in the award-winning independent film and cult hit “God bless America” (2011), written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, and for which she earned a “Young Artist Award” nomination in 2012. Two years later she played the leading role in the short film “Dawn”, Rose McGowan’s directorial debut.
