Tasha Cobbs Leonard is an American gospel singer and songwriter born in Jesup, Georgia on July 7, 1981. She is best known for her EP titled Grace that charted at number 61 on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2006 she started leading worship and ministries at Dream Center Church in Atlanta, Georgia and in 2018 became a worship leader at Relentless Church in Greenville, South Carolina. Leonard started her music career in 2010 and independently released her debut album titled Smile. She was signed to the label EMI Gospel/Motown Gospel and has since released the albums Grace, One Place Live, and Heart. Passion. Pursuit. In 2014 she was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, and in 2015 she was awarded the Gospel Artist of the Year Award at the GMA Dove Awards.
