Tate McRae Bio
Tate Rosner McRae, known more simply as Tate McRae, is a Canadian dancer, singer and actress who is best known for her competitive dancing skills. She trains in the Professional Division at the School of Alberta Ballet and has competed alongside the YYC Dance Project. She studied ballet from a young age, eventually being offered a scholarship to the Berlin State Ballet School after she won the silver medal at the finale of Youth America Grand Prix in New York City. She auditioned to be on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, a spin-off geared at a younger audience. She was the main focus and competitor on the show. She is also a singer and actor, having voiced the rag doll Spot Splatter Splash character in Nickelodeon’s “Lalaloopsy”. She has recently started to choreograph for others.
