Tate Stevens Bio

Stephen “Tater” Eatinger, better known as Tate Stevens, is an American country music singer born on March 1, 1975, in Belton, Missouri, United States. Stevens rose to national fame after winning the second season of The X Factor in 2012. He aspired to be a musician ever since he was a child. After moving from Texas to Missouri, Stevens started chasing his dream and formed a country band called the Dixie Cadillacs in 1996. They released a self-titled album which unfortunately, failed to make a mark. After a long hiatus, he resumed his musical career with the band Outlaw Junkies in 2005 which he also later left to form the Tate Stevens Band and released another independent album. Winning The X Factor took his career to another level and scored him a $5 million recording deal with Syco Music and RCA Records Nashville.
