Tawny Newsome Bio

Tawny Newsome is an actress and musician born on 24th February 1983 in California, United States. She is widely known for appearing in season 3 of the sitcom “Brockmire”. She is also a member of the band Four Lost Souls. She started her career as a backup singer for the Talking Heads band. Her first role as an actress came in 2013 with the television series “Chicago Fire”, in which she portrayed Jen. From 2016 to 2019, she played a recurring role in the comedy series “Bajillion Dollar Propertie$”.

Since 2020, she has been starring in the television series “Star Trek: Lower Decks”, for which she was nominated for Critic’s Choice Award in the category of Best Voice Actress in an Animated Series in 2021. She made her film debut in 2015 with the thriller film “Uncle John”. Her other credits include “Einstein’s God Model”, “Canal Street”, “Spies in Disguise”, “Spies in Disguise”, and “Vacation Friends”.
